Donald Joseph Qualls, better called DJ Qualls is an American actor, producer and fashion model. Apart from the Road Trip role, he also appeared in The New Guy Hustle & Flow in addition to The Core. Apart from his appearances on Road Trip Qualls has appeared in over 22 TV programs like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order etc. Qualls, who was diagnosed at 14 years old with Hodgkin lymphoma, is an extremely resilient fighter. He was able to get rid of his cancer within two years. The treatment, however, at such an early age had a severe effect on his body. It also slowed his development. The financial security was his first goal once he got started since he'd experienced hardship throughout his entire childhood. After living so modestly for so long I need the financial safety. Otherwise the world seems to be beyond my control. In a conversation the interviewer also talks about his growing up. He is determined to stop bullies. The cruelty he experiences breaks his heart. His ideal film role and in life is father. DJ admits that directors aren't able to put his character in these roles. He would like to be a father to the child.
